Weight today, 131 YES ! that’s 10 pounds gone
I’m starting to see a difference in my face, my check bones are a bit more pronounced and my face just looks a lot thinner. My belly is also thinner, this might sound funny but my belly button isn’t as deep anymore.. Strange.
Breakfast was coffee and an apple and the other half of this Pure Protein bar. I could use a new breakfast I think as this one is getting a bit boring.
Lunch was grilled chicken and a red potato with rosemary and a diet coke.
I did splurge and let myself have one piece of the Ghirardelli chocolate that was sent in to my office; one piece isn’t so bad when you consider that this place is full of food.
For dinner after a bit of holiday shopping (had ½ of a pure protein bar while shopping) I grilled up some more Tilapia and had a good serving of green beans (not the canned of frozen ones but the fresh ones).
Another ½ pound loss !!! I’m at 131.5 wow I never thought I would do this well.
Breakfast was my coffee with sugar free creamer and ½ of the peanut butter Pure Protein bar. I know I’m boring.
I bought what Grab N’ Go considers a large fruit salad, maybe about 2 cups of cut melons and munched on that from 8:30 am to 11:00am.
Lunch was left over grilled salmon and red rosemary potato from last night with a diet coke. I didn’t really eat anything more till dinner which was late. I went to a great high intensity Kettle bell class followed by over an hour of yoga.
After class I grabbed a grilled chicken on wheat pita from Pita Pit with all the veggies a little cheddar cheese and just a tad of ranch dressing.
Passes out for the night by 9 am.
The scale moved again! And in the right direction!!! I’m down another ½ pound to 132, that’s a loss of 9 pounds so far. I think I have finally kicked my cold so It’s back to the gym this week.
Breakfast was my standard coffee and a banana and half of a Pure Protein bar. I don’t have dinner left over’s so I’m not 100% sure what I’m having for lunch yet.
Lunch was two “Sammies” from Quiznos and a diet Coke that I had been sipping on all morning, added an Apples as a 3:00pm snack.
Dinner was a little late do to holiday errands and my Muay Thai class.
I had a great class doing 5 minute bag work rounds, then came home and had grilled salmon seasoned with lemon juice, pepper and dill and one red potato with a bit of fake butter and fresh rosemary. Dinner wasn’t until 8:45.
It’s officially week 3 now that I have support on the weekends I think this will go better.
I’m still at 132.5 after my cheat day so that’s great.
For breakfast I think I had an egg and a half (I had 1/3 of 3 full eggs and 2 whites) and one piece of wheat toast with light fake butter and a banana. Oh and a ½ cup of coffee since I added too much creamer.
Took a nice long walk along the beach/boardwalk in Hermosa Beach, and had a snack of apple slices.
Lunch was hard since we had plans to go to a friend’s house to watch the Dallas Cowboys game. I didn’t have time to make lunch first but they ended up having shrimp cocktail which was great. I had that and 2 slices of Swiss cheese on crackers and only one Hershey’s Chocolate kiss when I felt my sugar levels start to dip. I was very proud that my boy friend passed on alcohol and stuck to a glass of ice water! I know how hard it is to admit as a guy that you’re on a diet.
Dinner was grilled Tilapia and a micro waved red potato and a side of steamed veggies.
I also had a nice hot mug of tea with Splenda to help keep me warm while we watched the Holiday fireworks and keep me awake for my 2 hour drive home.
So when I started this I was told that once I made it through 2 full weeks I could start having one “cheat day” a week. On my cheat day I was allowed to eat anything I wanted. So today is that day!
Starting weight today was 132.5 lbs that’s another ½ off yeah !
Breakfast was coffee and half of a Pure Protein bar since I had to drive to LA for the weekend and didn’t have time to cook.
Took my boyfriend to the grocery store when I got to LA since he’s now jealous of my weight loss and wants to try too! I picked out a bunch of fresh veggies and lean meats for him then came home to make us grilled pork chops and steamed veggies. I also grabbed some of the sugar free Vons brand sparkling fruit flavored waters.
Snack was half of an orange before running errands.
So much for a cheat day, for dinner I had my boy friend bbq some pre-marinated chicken breasts which I had pounded and I cooked up 1 cup of sweet white corn each and a half of a piece of extra fiber wheat bread with a bit of fake butter. We were going out to a friend’s cocktail party and I knew if we didn’t have a good meal in us we would each out and eat junk.
Later at the party the cheating came out a little bit, I had a few chips and come French bread with dip, a few slices of Swiss cheese and one small piece of Trader Joes pizza. All in all I feel I did really well since we were there for 6 hours and I didn’t feel the need to drink anything more then diet coke and stayed away from the dips even though I knew I could have them, I didn’t want them.
So after once again missing the gym last night and not having the best lunch I was sure that I had gained weight, but no I’m still at 133 lbs. 8lbs total loss in 2 weeks.
Breakfast was coffee, a banana and half of a Pure Protein bar, I had a smore this time, yummy! These bars are really good for having ZERO grams of sugar.
For lunch I had dinner left overs, grilled chicken and steamed veggies. Another snack of fruit and munched on a bit of a protein bar on my drive home at 3:00pm.
Dinner was another serving of grilled Tilapia fish but this time I microwaved my red potato with a tiny bit of fake butter and some fresh rosemary.
Then I actually felt good enough to hit the gym, just a 10 min cardiovasuclar warm up, and 30 minutes of abs and arms but at least I got there.
Great news this morning, I’m at 133 that’s another pound down for a grand total so far of 8lbs!!I actually got on and off the scale 3 times and wiggled a bit on it just to be sure it wasn’t lying to me or not. Breakfast was a new sample protein shake, this a vanilla egg white one by Jay Robb. The taste was okay with water, and I didn’t need to plug my nose to get it down but it was very thin and foamy. I think I like the Synth-6 Chocolate that I had yesterday better. Drank my coffee with sugar free creamer and grabbed a banana around 7:30am.
10:00 am I grabbed a pack of 4 Snack Wells cookies since I knew I would be late getting lunch due to conference calls.
12:30 Lunch, I had an Italian classic sandwich from a local shop ( my office brought in box lunches) I passed on the chips and only had 3 bits of the chocolate chip cookie in the lunch pack , and passed on the cake. I know this didn’t fit 100% with my diet but I don’t want to be afraid of food rather be able to make the healthier choices and not let it control my life.
I started to feel sicker and sicker as the day progressed, until the point that I literally passed out in bed after taking Nyquil sinus at 6:30 pm. I slept through the gym and dinner and I thought I really need to beat this cold.
