Ok now I’m getting frustrated !! Still not moving the scale down. I seem to be stuck at 134lbs.
6:00am breakfast was another Syntha-6 protein shake the chocolate wasn’t as bad as yesterdays but they are still a bit high in sodium. I bought more coffee so I’m feeling better, by the way I use sugar free coffee mate creamer, tons!.
Snack was a banana and lunch at 11:30 was grilled lemon pepper chicken and left over steamed veggies from dinner last night. Everyone in the lunch room was jealous and thought I had gotten it at a restaurant and brought in leftovers. But no I made it on my hot plate!
One of the women here actually pulled me aside and asked me if I had lost weight.. when I said well a little she had to know how much, feels good to know someone noticed.
Munched on the second half of my peanut butter Pure Protein bar on the way home at about 3:00pm, I love that flavor.
Dinner was the same as last night, grilled Tilapia with a bit of tartar sauce and steamed veggies (red potato, broccoli, and zucchini) with a bit of lemon juice and a dash of salt and pepper.
I wasn’t feeling good again so I passed on the gym and took a nyquil and went to bed early, the cold that’s going around is hard to kick.
Down 7 lbs still but I’m starting to feel stuck in a rut. Sure, yes, it’s an amazing seven pounds and my dress pants look and feel very baggy while only a week ago they fit, but in the back on my head I still know that these are my “fat” pants. Every girl has them; those faithful pants that when you’re having one of those days, weeks or even years you know at least you can wear the fat jeans or the fat pants.
So it’s of little consequence that the fat pants are big on me again but the regular ones, well those still fit, and the skinny ones seem so far away still. I got a call from the police dept last night and they let me know that we should be able to finish up my application and background in the next week or so! Wow this is getting so close I can almost touch it.
I’ve even started looking at houses in Los Angeles for the big move, not that I can afford the deposit right now but I can dream at least. The call last night reminded me that the academy is coming sooner then I thought and I am not in the “BEST” shape that I can be so I really need to stop chatting so much at the gym and really hit the workouts. Today’s goal is to break a sweat.
I actually pinched my nose this morning to get my protein shake down.. it was one of those Syntha – 6 Mochachino ones. I will admit if you can deal with Whey protein then this brand is great but I tend to want to barf at the smell of the stuff. Due to lack of caffeine I broke down again today and bought a diet pepsi, lunch was two of those little “Sammie” flat bread sandwiches from Quiznos (one steak, the other Italian) It was the best thing I could think of that wouldn’t be too far from the diet goals. I made sure they went light on the sauce.
Munched on a pure protein bar as a snack, the peanut butter and chocolate ones are actually very good. Went to the gym today, remember the goal was the sweat, so I took a 30 minute kettle bell class ( I was the only one in the class so it’s more like a private lesson) Then since I didn’t sweat I figured I should hit the elliptical. Got through 10 minutes and remembered that I was 100% out of dog food and had two starving huge dogs waiting for me at home! So I cut the workout a bit short to get them food before it was too late. Dinner! It was so good tonight.
I decided to mix it up tonight after shopping. I had a piece of grilled up tilapia seasoned with Ms.Dashes lemon pepper and a bit of lemon juice. Ate it with 1/2 tbs of the lowest sodium tartar sauce I could find.Then I found these great new ziplock baggies that you put veggies in to steam. I was a bit hesitant so I pre-cooked my red potato a bit then chopped it up and added my raw broccoli and stuck it in the microwave for 3 minutes.
I love steamed veggies but hate over or under cooked food but these made the best veggies quick with no clean up. So they are my new go to kitchen tool. (1 red potato and 1 crown of broccoli made 3/4 of a baggie which I will split into 2 meals)Veggies got a splash of lemon juice and pepper and a tiny bit of ground salt. Best dinner I have made during this diet so far!
Weight 134 not too bad! Yes I’ll admit I’ve cheated a bit and haven’t worked out as much as I could and I got sick but all in all I’m proud that I’ve stuck to it this long. I was up at 5:00am getting ready for work, grabbed some cherry green tea with sweet and low since I’m still out of coffee creamer and hit the road.
Breakfast at my desk was a yummy banana and my last muscle milk light box. I’m not sure what I can replace these with since I’ve been too lazy to cook breakfast during the week. The diets a bit frustrating today, just really miss “tasty” food. But the results help with the lack of flavor. Oh how I’m craving an Asiago Cheese bagel all warm and toasted with cream cheese and a big full fat and sugar Starbucks vanilla latte.
Muscle milk has never tasted so gross. Going back to the gym today, my goal is to bust off another 3 lbs before Friday… Sugar levels started to dip by 9:00 am, this could have been caused by me only drinking half of the muscle milk.
So I had a little 4 pack of snack wells cookies to give me a boost and half a banana in an attempt to relieve the nauseous feeling in my stomach. It worked and I felt much better.12:00pm Lunch time, 1/2 cup of corn and 2/4 of my pork chop and an orange all washed down with a diet Pepsi.
I had to go to Target after work so I missed a few hours of food but made up for it by having a grilled chicken pita on what with tons of veggies from Pita Pit after my slacker Muay Thai class.
Well it’s Sunday and I’m starting to feel better. Weight today 145.5 up a half pound but considering me missing 2 workouts I’m doing ok.Got up at 9:00am to a banana and cleaned up a bit before heading out to face the mall and Christmas shopping.
Seeing as I was out of Coffee creamer and couldn’t face the mall without a bit of coffee I stopped off at Starbucks for a tall, soy chai latte and a hunk of gingerbread loaf. I figured it might get me in the holiday spirit which it did! I finished shopping for 6 people, which is great since I only have 2 left and my dogs.
At 1:00p grabbed half a low sugar “health food” brownie that I picked up at the vitamin shop and finished up the shopping trip and headed home. I really wanted sushi but all the shops seemed to be closed and the Pita Pit had no parking so I settled for the second half of my soup from last night and a few prunes, at almost 3:00pm.
Dinner was around 6:30 pm and I’m back in the grove with a grilled pork chop and little red potato. yum…Still no work out today, figured I would give the body one final day to kick this cold and get back to that tomorrow,I passed out at 8:00pm, wow I feel old.
I woke up today hoping I would feel better but knowing it was doubtful. Ate half or a veggie omelet and watched my land lord try to stop my roof from leaking for the second time this week.
I tried to go to the store and get ready to drive to LA but it just wasn’t happening. I’m too sick and can’t go to the wedding I had been planning on attending this weekend, I feel bad I’ve know the girl since she was 5.
So anyway back to the food, I’m having trouble eating, nothing tastes good and I don’t have much that fits the rules. So I had 2 cups of fishy crackers and another banana. Dinner was half a can of chicken sausage gumbo soup and that was all the tummy would allow. Passed out for the night…No gym in 2 days now I feel like I’m starting to slip, but they say no gym if you have a fever.
Weight 135
damn up a 1/2 pound but still down 6 lbs for the week.It’s raining out so I didn’t want to get up to make breakfast at 4am, grabbed another light muscle milk instead and a banana or the drive into the office. Tough Friday, I was out of coffee creamer so I ended up with a green tea, it’s just not the same.
Seem to be lagging a bit today. Stupid clients are driving me mad but I did eat another banana at 9:00am, am I eating too much fruit? I wonder if a diet coke would be allowed. It sounds really good right now. I think I’m going to go for it if I can find a quarter.
10:30 ran home to check on the dogs which got stuck in the house due to the rain and found out I didn’t make it home in time wow what a mess. Back at work to enjoy my left over grilled chicken and corn, I don’t feel too great today, my tummy is not happy at all… maybe I’m hungry? Alright I figured out what was up with my tummy I’m sick … went home and munched on an orange and got down half a pack of Top- romin and passed out with some Thera-flu.
I’m so proud of me today ! Starting weight 141 today 134.5! yes thats an amazing 6.5 lbs on day 6!
Running late again today so I grabbed a mug of tea with sweet and low and took off for work at 6:00am, munched on a banana on the drive in and I’m struggling to drink a muscle milk light shake for breakfast (not the best).
11:30am ate lunch, tuna salad again on a wassa cracker and an orange. Munched on a few sugar free candies and had a banana at about 3:20 pm.
5:00 pm time for my kettle bell class so I made a wassa cracker with natural peanut butter snack, could only get down half, gave the rest away at the gym, we had a tiny class but it was a good workout added a bit of an core workout after.
7:00pm Dinner; some grilled chicken 4 oz and 1/2 cup of corn.
