Choosing A Legit Fitness Instructor

Do you know if your yoga instructor studied in India for a year under a well-established guru? Or did your instructor get certified through a weekend online course? If you are not sure of either of these, you could most likely be putting yourself at risk of injury!

With choosing a legit fitness instructor be sure to look at this website – There are more than 20,000 yoga instructors in the United States alone according to Yoga Alliance,(a nonprofit group that oversees the yoga industry). The members of Yoga Alliance are required to complete at least 200 hours of education prior to getting certified.

So if your curious about your instructor, you can log through “My Sponsored Links” and check out Pilate’s Method Alliance to make sure that they have at least 450 hours of comprehensive training under their belt.

You can even ask your personal trainer on where they got certified as well. Especially if your investing $50-$120 an hour.
