Osteoporosis is a disease that weakens the human bones and makes us susceptible to breaks, fractures, and bone replacements. This disease becomes more of a reality as we approach the senior years of our lives, but is their is always something we can do to prevent it.

Strength training with weight bearing exercise will shrink your osteoporosis risk and your waistline! Women who did an hour of heart-pumping, on your feet activity such as aerobics, step, and running classes 3 times a week lost an average of 5 pounds.

Which is an inch from both your waist and hips within a year, maybe more pending the size of your frame. The bottom line is, the weight bearing exercises performed, fortified their bone density by 3.2%. So I say, it’s definitely time for you to bone up and slim down!.
